GP® 4864 Triazone Resin by Bakelite Synthetics is a cyclic urea-formaldehyde-amine resin. Provides overall lower manufacturing cost by extending the base polymer and enables formulation flexibility. It is high temperature stable so it can be used under high temperature conditions. It is used in a variety of industries as an extender, solvent or reactive diluent with melamine-formaldehyde, phenol formaldehyde, melamine-urea-formaldehyde and urea-formaldehyde binders. It is also applicable for water based formulations and can increase water miscibility. GP® 4864 Triazone Resin is recommended for ceiling tile, glass mat, insulation and laminate applications.
