Artisan™ nylon (PA6)

Artisan™ nylon (PA6) by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) is a high-gloss, pre-colored polyamide (PA 6) formulated to replace paint. Parts molded from Artisan pre-colored thermoplastics offer excellent scratch resistance compared to painted plastic. Provides improved corrosion resistance, UV resistance, and high performance. It offers added benefits as there is no painting process required, energy use is reduced and VOCs are eliminated. Exhibits vibrant colors, excellent aesthetics, weathering resistance and improved sustainability without the use of paint. Artisan™ nylon (PA6) is suitable for use in outdoor consumer applications such as powersports, lawn & garden, marine body panels and housings.
