AR-1040 by Aronkasei is a low compression, styrene-ethylene/butylene-styrene (SEBS) grade. Available in natural colors for coloring similar to that of general-use plastics. Exhibits excellent rubber elasticity & excellent cold resistance, excellent molten flow characteristics (moldability), improved heat resistance and excellent resistance against alkali inorganic chemicals. Provides anti-slippery & 30% lighter than cross-linked rubber products and reusable scrap such as runners. It can be processed using injection molding and extrusion. AR-1040 by Aronkasei is recommended for packing for an automobile air filter and vacuum cleaner motor.
