KELTAN® Eco 5470 by ARLANXEO is a highly crystalline, 70% bio-based ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) with narrow molecular weight distribution and medium Mooney viscosity. It is made with ethylene from sugarcane. It contains medium ethylidene norbornene (ENB) content and a non-staining stabilizer. It is compatible with other synthetic rubbers.
- It exhibits reduced dependence on fossil resources and reduced carbon footprint, outstanding flexibility, elasticity and heat stability.
- It offers good weather resistance, durability, great surface aesthetics, excellent electrical properties and moldability.
- It provides very high mechanical strength, good robustness and good processability. It can be processed by extrusion.
- KELTAN® Eco 5470 is recommended for solid sealing systems, hoses, mechanical goods and low voltage cable applications.
