Buna® VSL 3038-2 HM

Buna® VSL 3038-2 HM by ARLANXEO is a solution styrene-butadiene rubber containing 26% of bounded styrene. It has a modified microstructure with a high vinyl content. It contains TDAE extender oil that allows for very high molecular weights in the rubber increasing the treadwear resistance combined with easy processing. The high vinyl content increases the glass transition temperature values which results in an excellent balance of important properties in tire compounds like handling, traction and rolling resistance. The vulcanizates have outstanding resistance to reversion and a distinguished resilience while keeping flexibility at a relatively low temperature. It enhances important tire properties like grip and rolling resistance. Buna® VSL 3038-2 HM is applicable in high-performance tire treads.
