Baymod® N 34.82 by ARLANXEO is acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR), containing calcium stearate as a separating agent. It is an elastic and impact-resistant modifier. It offers excellent chemical, oil, fuel, grease and hydrolysis resistance. It shows good low-temperature flexibility, low fatigue, improved coefficient of friction and free flowability. It provides excellent dimensional stability, binding characteristics and a very low extraction rate of plasticizers. It is soluble in wet processes and highly compatible with different base polymers such as PVC or phenolic resins. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. Baymod® N 34.82 is used in brake applications and gaskets for the rubber industry.
