Pebax® MH 1657 by Arkema is an anti-static, heat-stabilized, polyether block amide grade. This thermoplastic elastomer is made of flexible polyether and rigid polyamide. It can be dry blended or compounded with an isolative polymer to lower the surface resistivity of the final part. This hydrophilic & inherently dissipative polymer offers excellent permeability to moisture vapor while remaining waterproof when extruded into a thin film or laminated. It is processed by thermoforming, casting, transfer- and injection molding, film- and profile extrusion. Pebax® MH 1657 is used as permanent antistatic additive and for breathable membrane applications. The shelf life of this product is 2 years.
