Kynar Flex® 2801-00 by Arkema is a light & heat stabilized polyvinlylidene fluoride (PVDF) copolymer grade. It exhibits chemical resistance and outstanding resistance to UV exposure. It offers extremely high purity & barrier properties, good mechanical and thermo-mechanical properties. It exhibits excellent abrasion and radiation resistance. It is recommended for corrosion protection in chemical coating (painting), off shore, performance wire and plenum cable. It can be used as an additive in linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) to improve extrusion rate. It is also used in biopharma membranes, chemical & general industry, renewable energy, lithium ion battery separator coating and water filtration membranes. Kynar Flex® 2801-00 complies with UL 94 V-0 flame rating.
