Figure 4® Tough 65C Black by 3D Systems is a versatile photopolymer designed specifically for both batch-run, end-use part manufacturing and prototyping applications. It shows long-term environmental stability. It provides good impact strength, tensile strength and high elongation at yield for ABS like snaps, buckles, and clips. It offers excellent surface quality, accuracy and repeatability. It does not require secondary thermal cure. Figure 4® Tough 65C Black is used in load bearing parts such as jigs, fixtures, prototypes, handles, cranks, knobs, and levers. It is also used in structural parts like brackets, snap-fits, and custom fasteners. It has applications for general use, sporting goods, consumer products, sensor holders, guides, latching connectors, board connectors for data devices and white goods. It is suitable for long term use parts for indoor and outdoor applications. Figure 4® Tough 65C Black is biocompatible-capable per ISO 10993-5 and is UL 94 HB rated for flammability.
