CastForm™ PS by 3D Systems is a recyclable polystyrene (PS) expendable pattern casting material. Is compatible with standard foundry practices, and offers low residual ash content (less than 0.02 %), short burn-out cycle, and easy processability. Is designed for use with selective laser sintering (SLS) systems including sPro™ 140, sPro™ 230 and sPro™ 60 HD. CastForm™ PS can be used to create complex investment casting patterns using reactive metals like titanium, low melt-temperature metals such as aluminum, magnesium & zinc, and ferrous & non-ferrous metals.
