It is processed by sheet or compression molding in matched metal die molds. It is suitable for use in electrical and HVAC applications. Premi-Glas® 2207-25 CR-SX complies with f1 outdoor suitability, UL File number E42524, UL-94 (5VA) and UL-94 (V0) flame rating.

Quantum QC® 8800 by LyondellBasell is an unsaturated polyester hybrid composite reinforced with 63% w/w E-glass fiber. It possesses high stiffness, fatigue resistance and high strength. It can be molded at temperatures in the range of 260-310°F, with 280°F suggested as a starting point. Its cure time depends on molding temperature and part thickness. It is processed by sheet molding. Quantum QC® 8800 has a shelf life of 2 months.
