Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) for Plastic Parts

BACTOSTAT® TPE TE-637K by DragonChem is an engineering TPE with bacteria-repellent feature up to 99.999%.

• It is suitable for food-contact applications without leaching of biocides, nanoparticles and heavy metals.
• It shows good adhesion to PP and PE.
• BACTOSTAT® TPE TE-637K is recommended for household articles, valves, closures, seals, translucent soft articles and toys.

Dryflex® PIR 853317-2 TPE by HEXPOL COMPOUNDING is a thermoplastic elastomer with 45% recyclate content from post-industrial and post-consumer sources. It showed 43% reduction in carbondioxide emission per kg TPE compared to the equivalent virgin TPE material. It meets regulatory and testing requirements of Porsche PN 780 for VOC and odor rating. It is used in automotive interior components.

THERMOLAST® K TF8PCM-LCNT by Kraiburg is a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) developed for food contact applications. It demonstrates high elasticity, soft touch surface and improved organoleptic properties. It shows adhesion to various polar thermoplastics including Tritan (PCT-G), PET, SAN, PC, ABS, PA6, and PA12.

• It is free from animal ingredients and has an extremely low migration potential and possibility of in-process recycling.
• It is suitable for processing by injection molding and extrusion.
• It is used in reusable food packaging, cosmetic applications, household articles, hoses and conveyor belts in food processing.
• It meets the requirements of the two most important regulations for food contact materials: European Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 and Title 21 Code of Federal Regulations (21 CFR 177.2600) of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
• It has a shelf life of 24 months.

THERMOLAST® K TF7PCM-NTRL by Kraiburg is a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) developed for food contact applications. It demonstrates high elasticity, soft touch surface and improved organoleptic properties. It shows adhesion to various polar thermoplastics including Tritan (PCT-G), PET, SAN, PC, ABS, PA6, and PA12.

THERMOLAST® S TF4ZGO-LCNT by Kraiburg is a highly elastic thermoplastic elastomer grade for extremely soft applications. Exhibits substantially reduced tendency to oil out and good media resistance. Possesses dry, very soft surface similar to human skin. It provides optimized mechanical properties at low hardnesses, velvety feel, resilience and dry haptics. It is free from animal ingredients and no silicones are added.

• It is colorable and allows precoloration in all colors.
• It is suitable for processing by injection molding and granule-based 3D printing.
• It is recommended for gel & soft pads, bike equipment's like seals, bumpers and grommets, orthosis, toys, fishing baits and cosmetic applications.
• It also used for cushioning, protectors, function & design elements and fun articles.
• It is (EU) No 10/2011 & EN71-3 approved and conforms to FDA CFR21.
• THERMOLAST® S TF4ZGO-LCNT has a shelf life of 24 months.

Versaflex™ OM 6258-1 by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) is thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) grade specifically designed to bond to a variety of standard and modified nylon materials, including those which are glass-filled, heat stabilized and/ or impact modified. It provides exceptional colorability, outstanding adhesion in both two-shot and insert molding processes, soft, rubbery grip and good processability. It is processed by injection molding. Versaflex™ OM 6258-1 by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) is used in lawn & garden equipment, overmolding and power/other tools. It complies with RoHS.

Versaflex™ VDT 4132 by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) is thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) grade designed to create excellent vibration damping. It is processed by extrusion and injection molding. Versaflex™ VDT 4132 is used in electrical/electronic applications, flexible grips, sporting goods, consumer applications, power/other tools, appliance components, business equipment, automotive- and soft-touch applications. It complies with RoHS.

GLS™ 422-126 by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) is thermoplastic elastomer grade. It can overmold and co-extrude to polypropylene. It is processed by injection molding and extrusion. It is designed to pass several fatty food extraction conditions. GLS™ 422-126 is suitable for consumer applications, containers, gaskets, kitchenware, overmolding and non-specific food applications. GLS™ 422-126 by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) complies with EU 10/2011, FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and RoHS (Restriction of Use of Hazardous Substances).

Versaflex™ G 7350 by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) is a general purpose, recyclable, thermoplastic elastomer grade. It offers non-slip grip, overmold adhesion to polypropylene, soft touch, rubbery feel, good flow, good processability & processing stability and good colorability. It is processed by injection molding. It is suitable for consumer applications, flexible grips, gaskets, household goods, overmolding, seals, soft touch applications and sporting goods. Versaflex™ G 7350 by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) complies with FDA (Food and Drug Administration), EU 10/2011 and RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances).

Versaflex™ HC 1100-40 Translucent EU by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) is thermoplastic elastomer grade. It offers very good adhesion to PC or ABS-based plastics, good surface aesthetics, rubbery feel, soft touch, good moldability, colorability and processability & processing stability. Also, provides very good bond to PC, ABS and PC/ABS. It is processed by injection molding. It is suitable for flexible grips medical/healthcare, overmolding, soft touch applications and transparent or translucent parts.
