DiCycloPentadiene Resin (DCPD) for Plastic Parts

Telene® 1810 A/B by Telene (RIMTEC Corporation) is a low density dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) thermosetting resin. It provides outstanding chemical resistance in acid & base, excellent combination of stiffness and impact resistance even at low temperature (-40°C), good dimensional stability and excellent electrical insulation. It provides ease of painting and good adhesion capabilities. It is designed for processing by reaction injection molding (RIM). Telene® 1810 A/B is suitable for commercial and industrial applications including body panels for cars, trucks, buses and off-highway equipment. The recommended shelf life of the product is 3 months in unopened sealed drums.

DCPD HIGH PURITY by Dow is a high purity dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) resin. It originates from the high temperature cracking of petroleum fractions and is best characterized as highly reactive intermediate. DCPD HIGH PURITY is suitable for water-white resins and specialty applications.

COLPOLY 733-10 by Helios Resins (Helios Group) is a general purpose, pre-accelerated and thixotropic dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) based unsaturated polyester resin. Shows low surface energy and low peak temperature. COLPOLY 733-10 is suitable for processing by hand lay-up and spray-up. Used in laminations.

It provides good dimensional stability, excellent combination of stiffness and impact resistance even at low temperature (-40°C), outstanding chemical resistance in acid & base and excellent electrical insulation. It is designed for processing using reaction injection molding (RIM). Telene® 1620 is suitable for commercial and industrial applications including body panels for cars, trucks, buses and off-highway equipment.

COLPOLY 738-95 by Helios Resins (Helios Group) is a general purpose, pre-accelerated and thixotropic hybrid unsaturated polyester resin of vinyl ester and dicyclopentadiene (VE/DCPD). Offers barrier coating. COLPOLY 738-95 is suitable for processing by hand lay-up and spray-up. Used in laminations.

COLPOLY 736 S by Helios Resins (Helios Group) is a low viscosity, UV stabilized dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) based unsaturated polyester resin, containing low styrene content. Shows good glass wetting, continuous sheet curing with MIBK and discontinuous laminating with MEKP or AAP. COLPOLY 736 S is designed for continuous lamination.

COLPOLY 724 A LSE by Helios Resins (Helios Group) is a pre-accelerated, dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) based unsaturated polyester resin, reinforced with mineral filler. Shows low surface energy (LSE) and good adhesion on ABS. COLPOLY 724 A LSE is suitable for processing by spray-up. Used in laminations for acrylics or ABS.

COLPOLY 7233 by Helios Resins (Helios Group) is a general purpose, pre-accelerated and thixotropic dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) based unsaturated polyester resin. COLPOLY 7233 is suitable for processing by hand lay-up and spray-up. Used in laminations.

COLPOLY 733-90 M by Helios Resins (Helios Group) is a dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) based unsaturated polyester resin. COLPOLY 733-90 M is suitable for processing by casting and closed molding. Used in artificial marbles and onyx.

COLPOLY 7608 by Helios Resins (Helios Group) is a halogenated, fire retardant dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) based unsaturated polyester resin (UPR). COLPOLY 7608 is suitable for processing by resin transfer molding. Recommended for composites.
