Delivering cost-performance advantages

China remains a key market for polymer application development and advanced manufacturing. It is widely regarded as a reference point for packaging formats and cost-performance considerations, influencing material development and processing approaches across Asia-Pacific value chains.

OQ states that its portfolio for CHINAPLAS 2026 has been developed with this market environment in mind. Across flexible packaging, rigid packaging and durable applications, the grades deliver measurable cost-performance advantages. The company indicates that these materials are designed to support lightweighting and more energy-efficient processing while maintaining end-use performance.

For packaging converters, OQ highlights PP random copolymer grades such as Luban™ RP2251T. They are suited for transparent, durable and reusable formats in food containers, personal care and housewares. The company adds that these grades can support energy savings and higher production output. The PE portfolio, covering both LLDPE and HDPE, is described as offering design flexibility for multilayer flexible packaging in food and industrial uses.
