Range of exhibits
At the event, Avient will present a range of material solutions, including:
Medical-grade formulations for next-generation healthcare devices
Advanced materials with ultra-low transmission loss that enable smaller, higher-performing satellite positioning components
Technologies enabling use of recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET) and non-PFAS additive solutions aligned with emerging China GB regulatory requirements
Precision healthcare devices
In healthcare, manufacturers are seeking colorants, additives, and engineered polymers that can support patient use, device durability, and regulatory consistency in a single formulation. Avient will highlight a tighter set of solutions aimed at meeting both product performance and compliance expectations.
For drug-delivery devices such as auto-injectors, Avient highlights materials including Trilliant™ HC, LubriOne™ and Versalfex™ HC thermoplastic elastomers. These are combined with technical support to address factors such as impact resistance, wear resistance, color matching, grip, friction and development processes across material selection and part design.
The Mevopur™ Healthcare Colorants and Formulations, along with Mevopur™ Healthcare Functional Additives, are manufactured in ISO 13485-certified facilities and pre-tested to protocols including USP Class VI, ISO 10993, USP 661.1, European Pharmacopeia 3.1 and ICH Q3D. According to the company, these materials support identification, branding and performance requirements in medical devices, diagnostics and pharmaceutical packaging.
Liquid colorants for liquid silicone rubber (LSR), available under the Mevopur™ and Hiformer™ brands, are produced in ISO 13485-certified sites and use carrier systems designed for compatibility with LSR. The company states that these formulations are developed to help reduce the risk of extractables.

Protecting high-frequency electronics
In telecommunications, the shift toward smaller form factors and stable signal performance is influencing material requirements. For GNSS applications including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou, Avient offers PREPERM™ Low Loss Dielectric Thermoplastics. These materials are engineered for controlled dielectric properties and low transmission loss. According to the company, they are injection moldable and colorable, offering design flexibility compared to ceramic alternatives while supporting consistent electrical performance.
Focus on sustainability regulations
As manufacturers adapt to developing GB standards in China, Avient will present rPET-related technologies covering material selection, color management and processing. These include ColorMatrix™ OXB Oxygen Scavenger, which the company describes as a fully recyclable solution that can extend shelf life and enable higher rPET content.
A technical session titled “Avient rPET total solutions for sustainability in response to future GB regulation in China” took place on Tuesday, April 21, at 11:00 am (Hall 2.2, Stand 2.2J80), presented by Zhou Yu, product manager for Color and Additives Asia at Avient. According to the company, the session focused on implementation approaches for meeting regulatory and sustainability requirements.
Avient also presents non-PFAS process aids and mold-release additives, including Cesa™ and Hiformer™ technologies for PE and PP extrusion, as well as the Colorant Chromatics™ Evoluscend™ additive for high-temperature polymers. These are formulated without intentionally added PFAS, in response to changing material preferences linked to regulatory scrutiny.

In addition, the company is demonstrating its PCR Color Prediction Tool, a digital service for packaging producers that, according to Avient, allows users to evaluate potential color outcomes or limitations of selected post-consumer recycled (PCR) streams before sample development, with the aim of reducing development time and improving color consistency.
Avient is also presenting Complēt™ long fiber reinforced structural thermoplastics for structural injection molding applications where lightweighting and metal replacement are required.
The company’s commercial and technical teams is available at Hall 2.2, Stand 2.2J68 during the event to discuss material selection, application development and product requirements across healthcare, electronics, sustainability and packaging applications.
