ULTEM™ resin 1000 by SABIC is amorphous, transparent, flame-retarded polyetherimide (PEI) grade. It is metallizable and transparent to microwave radiation & near IR. Provides high stiffness, strength, hydrolytic stability, low creep sensitivity, shrinkage, good metal adhesion, low smoke and toxicity. Offers radiation resistance (gamma, x-ray), chemical-, UV-C resistance, high electric breakdown strength (BDS) and high heat resistance. Exhibits excellent mechanicals in broad temperature range, good dimensional stability and excellent electrical properties. ULTEM™ resin 1000 is suitable for processing by additive manufacturing, injection compression molding, compression molding, foam-, film- & profile extrusion, injection molding, extrusion blow molding and extrusion compounding. Used in rigid packaging, aircraft interiors, defense, outdoor, lawn & landscape, semiconductors, fossil, electric vehicle, heavy truck, automotive interiors, electrical devices & displays, specialty vehicles, ophthalmics, rail, wind energy, sport/leisure, consumer packaging. It is also recommended for personal accessory, textile, lighting, energy storage, home appliances, servomotor, bus, electronic, electrical components, industrial, automotive under the hood, commercial appliance and recreational vehicle. Complies with RoHS, UL94 V-0, V-2 and 5V ratings and aerospace FAR 25.853. The natural, uncolored, material is halogen-free according to standards IEC 61249-2-21, IPC 4101E and JEDEC JS709B. The base material is transparent amber colored but is also available in custom colors- transparent and opaque.

ULTEM™ resin HU1010 by SABIC is an unreinforced, amorphous, high stiffness polyetherimide (PEI) resin that may offer a high glass transition temperature (Tg) of 217°C and improved flow. It offers steam-, peroxide-, gamma-, EtO-, UV-C- and E-beam resistance for repeated sterilization cycles. It features excellent mechanical, electrical and dimensional properties up to high temperatures. It provides very good chemical resistance for an amorphous material. It provides hydrolytic stability, low smoke and toxicity. It exhibits low creep sensitivity, low shrinkage, good metal adhesion, high strength and high heat resistance. It is transparent amber colored but is also available in custom colors - transparent and opaque. It is suitable for additive manufacturing, injection compression molding, compression molding, foam extrusion, extrusion blow molding, film extrusion, injection molding, profile extrusion, extrusion and extrusion compounding. ULTEM™ resin HU1010 is designed for pharmaceutical, surgical, ophthalmics, personal accessory, respiratory, sleep therapy, personal recreation, healthcare, patient testing, fluid and blood handling, medical facility and infrastructure. It is an inherent flame retardant offering UL94 V0 and 5V ratings. It is biocompatible (ISO 10993 or USP Class VI) and healthcare management of change applies. The grade is RoHS- and food compliant (FDA, CN, EC).

ULTEM™ resin 1010 by SABIC is a general purpose, amorphous, metallizable, flame-retardant polyetherimide (PEI) grade. It offers high flow, durability, excellent mechanical properties and dimensional stability. It provides easy processability, low toxicity and smoke evolution. Exhibits hydrolytic stability, low creep sensitivity, low shrinkage, high electric breakdown strength (BDS), UV-C and radiation resistance (gamma, x-ray). It provides high heat resistance, chemical resistance and stability of physical & mechanical properties at elevated temperatures with high strength, modulus and stiffness up to 200°C. It retains strength and resists stress cracking when exposed to automotive, aircraft and hydrolytic fluids, aliphatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, acids and weak aqueous solutions. Shows good metal adhesion and is transparent to microwave radiation & near IR. ULTEM™ resin 1010 is suitable for processing by injection molding, additive manufacturing, extrusion blow molding, film-, foam & profile extrusion, compression molding, extrusion compounding, hot rolling and injection compression molding. Recommended for rigid packaging, aircraft interiors, defense, outdoor lawn & landscape, semiconductors, fossil, electric vehicle, heavy truck, automotive interiors, electrical devices & displays and specialty vehicles. It is also used in ophthalmics, rail, wind energy, sport/leisure, consumer packaging, personal accessory, textile, lighting, energy storage, home appliances, servomotor, bus, and electronic material handling. Suitable for electrical components & infrastructure, personal recreation, industrial material handling, composite, automotive under the hood, commercial appliance and recreational vehicle. It complies with RoHS, aerospace FAR 25.853, UL 94 V-0 and 94 5VA flame rating.

INCIRCLE® IP1601

INCIRCLE® IP1601 by Ingenia is a compatibilizer masterbatch which can be added to multi-material films containing nylon and/or EVOH to design for recycling. Nylon and EVOH typically cannot be evenly dispersed into a polyethylene matrix for recycling. But with the addition of INCIRCLE® IP1601 at very low let-down ratio (LDR), multi-layer film trim can be added back into film production.
- The let-down ratio (LDR) is dependent on the film composition.
- The ratio of IP1601 to polyamide is 1:12, EVOH is 1:13, or polyamide plus EOVH is 1:10 to meet APR Design for Recyclability Recognition. Please note that the ratios have to be exact to use the APR.
- It is free of animal-based ingredients, dispersion aids, waxes and stearates.
- It is suitable for LDPE, LLDPE and HDPE film.
- INCIRCLE® IP1601 is used in applications such as blown film, cast film, injection molding, blow molding, and sheet extrusion processes.
