Dr Mario Chin

Dr. Mario P. S. Chin, co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Avant, is an expert in medical genetics and cell biology. He leads R&D in cell cultivation and skincare actives. Previously, Dr. Chin was Associate Director at the Institute of Genomics and a Professor at Huaqiao University. He has received multiple awards for his scientific contributions and co-invented three US patents for the Zellulin® BioPlatform, a method for producing bioactive peptides for skincare.
