Desika Prabakar

Desika Prabakar is a techno-commercial expert in environmental sustainability. Having built and transferred technologies such as enzymatic additives to degrade petrochemical plastics, nano additives for bioplastics, and biopolymer products for wastewater treatment and hygiene under the prestigious IIT Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and National University of Singapore, she ventured into the family business of upcycling post-industrial and post-consumer wastes.

With over 800+ citations on her environmental publications in top peer-reviewed journals, she continually indulges in sustainable research and presently works with brands as a Sustainability Consultant in executing strategies to meet their sustainability goals.
