Biography
Ana Espert is Product Manager of Foams & Biopolymers at GCR Group, a leading supplier of mineral masterbatches and specialty compounds for the plastic industry.
She has vast experience in R&D, Product Development and Sales of polymeric materials and additives for different applications, as well as in the processing of polymeric materials by different extrusion technologies, especially foam extrusion. Her main lines of work are based on the development of specialty materials for the foam and biopolymer industries, focusing on enhancement of properties, productivity boosting and increased sustainability. She developed abilities for analyzing customer needs and market trends, setting-up strategies for product development, sales and marketing.
As part of her activity, she developed a wide training experience in the plastic processing sector (specialized training, in-company training, webinars and online courses). She has also contributed to numerous scientific and technical publications, conferences and seminars in the field of polymeric foams.
Ana holds a PhD in Polymer Technology by Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (KTH) in Stockholm (2005).
