About Bokwang Chemical
Established in April 1994 as a spin-off from the Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT), Bokwang Chemical Co. has carved out a strong niche in supplying high-performance raw materials for the cosmetics and personal care industries. Based in South Korea, the company supports manufacturers worldwide with a broad portfolio of coated powders, including mica, sericite, talc, iron oxides, titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, ultramarine color pigments, and silica beads. Their coating agents include silicones (such as dimethicone and silane), amino acids (e.g., sodium lauroyl glutamate, lauroyl lysine), hydrogenated lecithin, metal soaps (like aluminum stearate), fluorine compounds, waxes, and nano-sized pigments. Through its formulations, Bokwang enables cosmetic brands to improve the stability, texture, dispersion, and aesthetic appeal of their products.
