Tremella Fuciformis Polysaccharide. WATEC® TFP by Watec Laboratories integrate moisturizing, antioxidant, anti-aging, brightening, increasing skin elasticity, repair, and anti-inflammatory functions. It is also known as plant-based hyaluronic acid.
  • It is an acidic polysaccharide derived from the fruiting body, spores, or fermentation broth of Tremella fuciformis.
  • Its main chain consists of mannans linked by α-(1→3) glycosidic bonds, with side branches containing glucuronic acid and xylose units.
  • It exhibits properties similar to hyaluronic acid and collagen, with a superior water-holding capacity, making it highly effective in moisturizing the skin and preventing water loss.
  • It helps strengthen the skin's natural barrier, preventing moisture loss and protecting against external irritants.
  • WATEC® TFP can effectively eliminate superoxide anions and hydroxyl free radicals.
  • It helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, enhances smoothness and maintain skin elasticity by promoting collagen production and protecting the skin against UV damage.
  • It is an ideal additive for high-end skincare products including creams, serums, gels, face masks, essences, lotions and toners.
  • It is used in hair care products including shampoos, conditioners, hair masks, and serums.
