Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone. BELSIL® WO 3700 by Wacker is a non-ionic water-in-oil (W/O) and water-in-silicone (W/Si) emulsifier. It is based on a polymeric polydimethylsiloxane which is functionalized with polyether as well as alkyl groups.
- It improves the spreadability, texture and stability of W/O formulations.
- Its special structure ensures good emulsion stability and provides a light feel.
- It can be used for the preparation of oil-in-water (O/W) formulations together with suitable co-emulsifiers.
- It enables the formulation of not only high-viscose creams but also enables stable low-viscous lotions.
- BELSIL® WO 3700 is used for skin care (face & body), sun care (sunscreen, after-sun), anti-aging, personal care, and color cosmetic products such as foundations, eye-makeup, and concealers.
