Dimethicone (and) Dimethicone/Vinyltrimethylsiloxysilicate Crosspolymer (and) Caprylyl Dimethicone Ethoxy Glucoside. BELSIL® REG 1103 B by Wacker is a secondary emulsifier, binder and thickening agent. This hydrophilic resin elastomer gel is a silicone copolymer network blended with a non-volatile, low-viscosity dimethicone and a silicone polyglucoside (nonionic surfactant).
  • It exhibits shear-thinning behavior and gives a unique silky skin feel.
  • It provides very pleasant sensory properties and smooth application.
  • It allows the cosmetic formulation to spread easily during application and facilitates the incorporation of pigments into a formulation.
  • It is a self-emulsifying gel, that takes up water and provides a more hydrated skin feel.
  • It also shows a water-break effect, where water absorbed during the formulation process is released upon application in the form of tiny droplets.
  • This ingredient conceals contours and wrinkles and improves the water & transfer resistance.
  • It imparts a cushiony and light skin feel to moisturizing creams, sunscreen lotions, eye gels, foundations, concealers and BB creams.
  • BELSIL® REG 1103 B is used in lipsticks, after-sun products, anti-aging-, personal care, deodorants, eye make-up-, skin care (face & body), conditioner, hair styling and lip make-up products.
