BELSIL® PF 100

Lauryl Phenylisopropyl Methicone. BELSIL® PF 100 by Wacker is an aryl- and alkyl-modified silicone fluid of medium viscosity. It offers significant improvements in regard to gloss and shine. It imparts a high level of sheen to hair, leaving it feeling pleasantly soft to the touch and easier to comb.

• In antiperspirant formulations, it is employed as a refractive-index match to promote the formation of clear products.
• It is characterized by having a higher refractive index than standard dimethicone fluids.
• The sheen of hair oils can be given a particularly high boost by combining it with a silicone elastomer gel, such as BELSIL® EG 6000.
• It is virtually free of cyclic silicone oligomers.
• It can be used to make oil-based transparent formulations and in leave-on products of hair care formulations.
• BELSIL® PF 100 is used in conditioner, hair styling, skin-, sun care, color cosmetics, lip gloss, lipstick, eye makeup and foundation.
