It is a silicone-organic hybrid material. It combines the stronghold properties of a hair styling resin with typical silicone properties like softness and
silkiness.
- It prevents heat damage to hair by reducing water loss from hair fibers during hot iron or blow-drying treatments.
- It can be used as a non-flaking hair resin for medium to strong hold.
- It is provided as a 50% solution in denatured ethanol.
- It shows good compatibility with DME and butane/propane mixtures.
- It can be used in aerosols, pump sprays, and balm/gel-type formulations.
- BELSIL® P 1101 is suitable for use in sunscreen, nail polish, hair care (conditioner), hair styling, color cosmetics and skin care.
