SUNLAKE® Sunset Yellow

CI 15985. SUNLAKE® Sunset Yellow by Vipul Organics is an organic pigment. It is a disodium 6-hydroxy-5-[(4-sulfophenyl)azo]-2-naphthalenesulfonate. It is a very fine yellow color powder. It is opaque, dispersible and has an excellent color stability and consistency. Exhibits light fastness, air- and moisture resistance. It is insoluble in water, alcohols and organic solvents. It helps to increase the shelf life of the end product. It is bonded with aluminum hydrate that prevents fading. SUNLAKE® Sunset Yellow is used in decorative cosmetics and other cosmetics care products.
