CI 77492. FERROXIDE® Yellow 510P by Venator Materials is a high-purify precipitated yellow iron oxide. It is produced from specially selected raw materials under very light process and quality control procedures. It is used alone and in combination with organic pigments to improve opacity, reduce formula cost and add UV resistance. It is color-stable in processing temperatures below 180°C (365°F). FERROXIDE® Yellow 510P complies with FDA 21CFR standards covering use in food contact articles and European Commission Directive 2008/128/EC Section E172 for iron oxides as well as hydroxides.
