CASAMED™ PCMX USP

Chloroxylenol. CASAMED™ PCMX USP by Thomas Swan is an exceptionally broad-spectrum bactericide and preservative. It is used in controlling bacteria, mildew and fungal growth in a wide range of applications (domestic and industrial).

• It provides formulation cost, handling, foaming and formulation flexibility advantages over quaternary compounds.
• It is a highly effective, versatile active ingredient used in a wide range of antiseptic formulations as well as in solid & liquid medicinal soaps.
• In combination with other bactericides, CASAMED™ PCMX USP can be used to control many virus types, which are resistant to chemical germicides.
• It shows compatibility with a wide range of anionic and amphoteric surfactants.
• It can also be formulated together with CASAMED™ Odour Mask for use in personal care applications.
• It is bactericidally active over a pH range of at least 4-9.
• It complies with REACH, FDA, USP and GMP accreditations.
• It has a shelf life of 36 months.
