PB MicroCide

Polyaminopropyl biguanide. PB MicroCide by The Herbarie acts as a preservative. It offers broad spectrum of antibacterial activity but slightly less antifungal/mold activity. It is gentle, mild, non genotoxic, non-teratogenic, paraben-free and formaldehyde-free. It provides low to no irritation potential and is compatible with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients. Moreover, it is not compatible with strongly anionic systems or original leucidal liquid. It has an excellent toxicology data and can be used with chelating agents such as glucono delta lactone. PB MicroCide finds application in formulating baby wipes, contact lens solutions, skin care creams & lotions, hair conditioners and other personal care products.
