Feverfew Extract-NS

Chrysanthemum Parthenium Extract. Feverfew Extract-NS by The Garden of Naturalsolution acts as an anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial agent. It is an extract of the herb of the feverfew, chrysanthemum parthenium. It contains tanetin, apigenin, luteolin 7-glucuronides and camphor as active compounds. Its essential oil shows anti-bacterial activity against gram (+) and gram (-) bacteria. Parthenolide (sesquiterpene lactone) shows anti-inflammatory effect by IkB inhibition. Moreover, the flavonoids like tanetin, apigenin and luteolin 7-glucuronides shows inhibition of COX and 5-lipoxygenase. Feverfew Extract-NS finds application in formulating cosmetic products.
