Supplied byStrahl & Pitsch- Last Updated on Jul 6, 2015

Hydrogenated Microcrystalline Wax & Paraffin. Ceresine Wax acts as a consistency agent, binder emollient and film forming agent. It thickens lipid (oil) portion & helps keep emulsions from separating into their oil and liquid components. It increases viscosity and enhances gel strength in liquid and semi solid systems. Helps to modify viscosity in liquid and semi solid formulations. Ceresine Wax is useful in binding and stabilizing the oil portion of an emulsion and as a melt point modifier. It is compatible with a wide variety of solvents, oils, fats, resins, petrolatum and other waxes. Used in various cosmetics and personal care applications.
