Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate. BIO-TERGE® AS-40 HP by Stepan Company is an anionic surfactant. It offers excellent viscosity, foam characteristics as well as improved mildness over lauryl sulfates. It is readily biodegradable, excess alkalinity preserved and more stable than alcohol sulfates over a broad pH range.
  • BIO-TERGE® AS-40 HP is recommended for use in soaps, 2-in-1 shampoos and bath products.
  • It is Kosher certified and EO/PO and sulfate-free grade.
