Hydrogenated Olive Oil Decyl Esters. Phytowax® Olive 10L 40 by Sophim is an oil-free, non-greasy, vegetable-based emollient wax and texturizing agent. It helps to restore lipids of the skin thanks to their composition in liquid wax-esters similar to stratum corneum. It penetrates very easily into the epidermis & helps to moisturize and nourish the skin. It shows good stability against oxidation and unique sensory properties. It is less occlusive than other waxes and offers silky and velvety feel. It can enhance the texture, consistency and creaminess of the formulas. It increases the viscosity of the finished product without soap effect. It gives body and structure to the formulations, while bringing them smoothness, melting effect and pleasure. It is an excellent substitute for animal waxes (beeswax) or petroleum waxes (ozokerit, microcrystallin, paraffin wax). Phytowax® Olive 10L40 is used in make-up, face-, body- and hair care applications. The grade is approved by China and COSMOS certified. The shelf life of the product is 2 years.
