Biophytosebum®

Olive Oil Decyl Esters (and) Squalene. Biophytosebum® by Sophim is a natural active emollient with a dry touch. It restores cutaneous lipid barrier and skin suppleness. It prevents water loss and provides moisturization. It is very easy to spread and has a cushion effect after application. It offers strong affinity with skin that aids in very quick penetration. Provides non-greasy feel and soothing effect. It has a capability to develop very smooth textures. It is composed of wax esters (85-90%) and unsaponifiables of olive oil (10-15% among which 8% squalene). It is an alternative to volatile silicones. Recommended for skin-, body- and sun care formulations. It gives sustainability to hair by promoting deep hydration. Biophytosebum® is certified by COSMOS and approved by REACH and China. It has a shelf life of 18 months.
