Aquaregul-K®

Water (and) Potassium PCA (and) Opuntia Ficus Indica Stem Extract. Aquaregul-K® by Solabia acts as a moisturizing and hydrating active. It is a physio-vegetal complex formed by the potassium salt of the L-pyrrolidone carboxylic acid (L-PCA) and the aqueous extract of cactus stems (opuntia ficus indica). As a short and long term moisturizer, it enhances intra and intracellular hydrous flow, following 3 complementary modes of action: stimulation of water penetration into cells (osmotic effect); stimulation of aquaporin (AQP3) synthesis; reinforcement of the epidermic barrier function.It contains 1% phenoxyethanol and 0.3% potassium sorbate as preservatives. Aquaregul-K® is used in skin care products.
