Siltech® E-2149

Amodimethicone (and) Cetrimonium Chloride (and) Trideceth-12. Siltech® E-2149 by Siltech is a 35% active emulsion of an amino siloxane. It is emulsified with cationic emulsifiers and can be used as is or at diluted concentrations. Siltech® E-2149 is especially formulated to condition hair & skin. The amino functionality as well as the cationic emulsifier tend to drive the polymer from the emulsion onto these surfaces providing efficacy of use and durability. The treated surfaces are soft, silky and pleasant to the touch. In hair care, it also provides improved combability. The shelf life of the product is 12 months when stored in the original, unopened containers between 10 and 40°C.
