PEG-8 Dimethicone. Silsurf® J208 by Siltech is a large molecular weight ethoxylated water-soluble silicone polyether. It provides conditioning to hair and skin and imparts lubricous feel. Silsurf® J208 offers excellent substantivity to lotions, gels, creams, conditioners and shampoos. It also provides a stable foam to shampoos. The shelf life of the product is 36 months when stored in the original, unopened containers between 10 and 40°C.
