PEG-8 Dimethicone. Silsurf® A208 by Siltech is used as a wetting agent, surface tension depressant and emulsifier for various personal care. It is silicone glycol copolymer. Silsurf® A208 is used to prepare stable oil-in-water and silicone-in-water emulsions. It provides softness & shine to hair and detangling for wet hair. It offers hydrophilicity and improved heat stability. The shelf life of the product is 36 months when stored in the original, unopened containers between 10 and 40°C.
