Paeonia Lactiflora Root Extract (and) 1,2-Hexanediol (and) Hydroxyacetophenone (and) Butylene Glycol (and) Water. Gerbex® White Penoy by Shanghai JAKA Biotech exhibits anti-inflammatory and whitening effects. It is a herbal extract liquid with the main active component paeoniflorin. It can inhibit the LPS-induced secretion of NO, TNF-a, IL-6 and the expression of COX-2 in Raw264.7 cells. It hinders the activity of tyrosinase and prevents the synthesis of melanin.
