Acts as an emulsifying agent. It is a new type of multifunctional anionic-surfactant. Exhibit non-ionic properties at low pH due to a poly-ethoxy group being inserted between the fatty chain and the carboxylic group of soaps. Shows good detergency and lime soap dispersability. It can produce stable foam with high foam power. It exhibits good properties: acid and alkaline stability, hard-water tolerance, high temperature resistance, oxidants and reductants resistance, compatibility with general surfactants and hydrotroping ability. It is non-toxic and non-irritating. Used in paste cosmetic products.
