Sodium Hyaluronate. It acts as a moisturizing, nourishing, repairing agent, humectant, thickener and stabilizer, emollient and film-former. It attracts moisture and holds it in the skin, which preserves the smoothness, suppleness and elasticity. Sodium Hyaluronate has low molecular weight which enables it to penetrate into dermis directly to improve the nutrient supply, is effective in promoting healing and fighting inflammatory conditions of the skin and creates a protective film on the surface, which retains moisture and at the same time prevents moisture evaporation from the skin to retain freshness. Sodium Hyaluronate serves as a free radical scavenger and antioxidant, helping to protect the skin from the aging effects of excessive sunlight exposure. Sodium Hyaluronate is applicable in lotion, creams and moisturizing products.
