CRYSTALWAX®

Hydroxystearic Acid (and) Synthetic Wax (and) Triisostearin (and) Polybutene (and) Pentaerythrityl Tetraisostearate. CRYSTALWAX® by Sensient Cosmetic Technologies is a blend of transparent waxes with a low melting point and high refractive index. It provides good hardness, shine and pay off. CRYSTALWAX® is easy to process as allows production below 78°C. It is also easy to formulate and exhibits compatibility with a wide range of oils. It is designed for use in transparent poured lip gloss and lipsticks when used with oils which have a refractive index (RI) of: 1.490 +/- 0.001. CRYSTALWAX® can also be used in eye and other makeup products.
