ST-gel™

ST-gel™ by Sekisui Plastics is a hydrogel designed using Sekisui’s polymerization technology. It has low acidity almost matching with that of the skin and thus causes low irritation. Moisture can be retained during use due to effective bleeding. With water evaporation, cool-feeling can be provided. Heat-labile active ingredients can be added along with this product which causes quick penetration into the skin by wrapping effect. ST-gel™ is soft and flexible to use and fits the skin tightly due to surface tension. Water, electrolyte, moisturizing agent are together maintained in a hydrophilic resin matrix. Recommended for processed gel products and facial pack material for cosmetics.
