Microcrystalline Wax. SASOLWAX® 2528 by Sasol acts as a consistency regulator and oil binder. It is a multi-component blend of saturated hydrocarbons. It contains elevated content of iso- and cyclo-alkanes. It provides microcrystalline structure, ductility, smoothness and outstanding oil absorption capacity. It improves stability and adds structure & hardness to lip balm sticks and other products in stick form used as beauty products, without being excessively crystalline. SASOLWAX® 2528 is also used in creams and lotions. Meets European cosmetics regulation (No. 1223/2009) and Colipa: Recommendation No. 14 lip and oral care products.
