Microcrystalline Wax (and) Paraffin (and) Synthetic Wax. Sasolwax 0907 by Sasol acts as an oil binder, melting point regulator and consistency regulator. It is a multi-component blend consisting of saturated hydrocarbons. It has significantly elevated content of iso- and cyclo-alkanes. It is crucial for the microcrystalline structure, ductility, smoothness and outstanding oil absorption capacity. It improves stability, adds structure and hardness to lip balm sticks and other products in stick form used as beauty products, without being excessively crystalline. Sasolwax 0907 is also used in creams and lotions. Meets European cosmetics regulation (No. 1223/2009), Colipa: Recommendation No. 14 lip & oral care products, FDA 21 CFR, 172.880 and USP/NF.
