Saliguard® EZ

Ethylhexylglycerin (and) Propanediol. Saliguard® EZ by Salicylates and Chemicals acts as a preservative, emollient, humectant, solvent, hand feel modifier, viscosity enhancer and good carrier for active ingredients. It is multi-functional paraben free blend which combines the additive ethylhexylglycerin with Zemea®, a natural based propanediol from DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products. Propanediol and EHG synergistically enhance the efficacy of antimicrobial components. It also possesses good moisturizing activity. It is non-irritating and non-sensitizing and has broad spectrum activity. It has good foaming power, enhances clarity. Saliguard® EZ is an ideal solubilizer for natural extracts and is highly recommended for moisturizing products. Recommended for use in hair care (shampoos, conditioners & hair fixative), skin care (acne treatment, creams, lotions, liquid soaps and moisturizing facial cleansers, personal care), body wash, hand soap, hand sanitizers. It is also used in sun products, wipes, deodorant, concealers, mascara, makeup remover, oral care and shaving preparations.
