PPG-9 Diglyceryl Ether. SY-DP 9 by Sakamoto Yakuhin Kogyo acts as humectant, solvent and moisturizing agent. It is a line of ether polyols obtained by the addition of polymerized propylene oxide to diglycerin. It offers light feel, reduces stickiness, improves spreading and smoothness. It provides shine, soft, oily and sheen feel to hair. It prevents hair-setting polymer from flaking. It improves the foaming and cleansing power. SY-DP 9 is used in lotions, creams, body & facial cleanser, make-up remover and hair care formulations.
