Isopropyl Isostearate. Radia 7739 by Oleon acts as an emollient and dispersant. It is a branched isostearic ester which is derived from natural oils and is non-toxic, non-irritating, non-exhaustive, fully biodegradable and environment friendly in nature. It is a light and low occlusive emollient with good spreadability & absorption and provides pleasant skin feel. It exhibits protection, conditioning, moisturization and lubrication properties. Moreover, it is a good dispersing medium and shows low greasiness, reduced tackiness and low amount of residue. It confers a light, non-greasy and non-fatty texture to creams & lotions and improves the stability of cosmetic formulations. Radia 7739 finds application in formulating moisturizing creams & lotions, antiperspirants, deodorants, shaving creams, bath & baby oils, cosmetics and facial-, body-, baby-, sun-, nail-, eye- and lip-care products.
