Supplied byNouryon- Last Updated on Feb 15, 2024

Acrylates Copolymer. BALANCE® RCFg by Nouryon acts as a fixative, film former and rheology modifier.
  • It is an alkali swellable acrylic polymer derived from synthetic (petroleum-derived) sources that provides viscosity and stiffness, resulting in crystal clear hair gels with good transmittance.
  • It provides excellent high humidity curl retention and superior stiffness compared to traditional gel polymers.
  • It also provides the features of low tack, volume, frizz control, gloss and exceptional clarity in water compared to traditional gel polymers.
  • It can be used as a stand-alone polymer, replacing both traditional fixatives and rheology modifiers with a single ingredient.
  • It is compatible with carbomers and can also be used in conjunction with traditional rheology control polymers to create economical and aesthetically pleasing styling products.
  • BALANCE® RCFg is specially designed to make crystal clear hair gels but it can also be used to develop spray gels, styling creams, ethnic hair and other styling waxes and pomades.
