Lime Seed Oil

Citrus Aurantifolia seed oil. Acts as an emollient and skin conditioner. It is a fixed triglyceride oil, not a volatile essential oil. The refined oil is pale yellow in color, liquid at ambient (25°C) and becomes a waxy paste when cooled to below 5°C. In this sense it is similar to Avocado oil. The high content of Omega3&6 fatty acids support improved tissue regeneration and have been shown to be particularly effective on dry and mildly inflamed skin conditions. Lime seed oil has a medium skin feel and is especially suited to hand, face, body creams and butters where deep and prolonged moisturizing effects are needed.
